Britany is the only flat anchor with a shank designed not to foul, thus preventing the anchor from breaking away. It bites into the seabed within seconds.
Instant biting into the sea bed :
The most common claw type anchor. Its special construction, with the one-piece stem and the base with the 3 fins, make it a great choice for anchoring in places with sandy bottom.
This item allows the connection of two, same size, chains
DIN 764 link chain (medium size link) for general use mainly in permanent anchorage.
Hot dipped galvanized offers higher resistance to oxidation due to exposure to the sea environment.
Smaller sizes can be use to the auxiliary anchor where launching and retrieving are done manually.
Medium and larger sizes are ideal solution for permanent anchorage thanks to the wider link which allows the attachment of shackles.
Calibrated DIN 766 link chain made in Italy. Hot dipped galvanized.
The term “Calibreted” states that every single link of the chain has been processed with very specific way, resulting that all links would have the exact same dimensions and are in accordance with specific safety standards, with minimum approved deviations, in this case DIN 766.
This feature makes these chains the right choice for use in windlasses where smooth operation is required.
These particular chains have, and only in sizes 10mm and 14mm, 2 types of link length.
Quality certifications are available upon request.
The CQR anchor is the oldest anchor, in terms of design, dated back in 1930’s.
Plough shaped with moving shank, was, for decades, the only anchoring solution for recreation vessels. Now days is considered obsolete.
An anchor with a movable stem and twin plates, which allows direct anchoring with the one that comes in contact with the bottom with whichever side it falls.
It is considered ideal for muddy or sandy bottom.
Its disadvantage can be considered that it takes up a lot of space due to design.
Its unique shank profile and ballasted tip make the Delta® anchor self-launching. The low centre of gravity and self-righting geometry ensure that the Delta® anchor will set immediately. Consistent and reliable in performance, the Delta® anchor has Lloyd’s Register General Approval of an Anchor Design as a High Holding Power anchor and is specified as the primary anchor used by numerous National Lifeboat organisations.
All Delta® anchors are “guaranteed for life against breakage”.

Hot dipped galvanized Delta TYPE anchors
Delta shaped anchors posses a large portion of the anchor market mainly due to their special features.
“Plough” type shape, fixed shank, weighted tip for self-launching and broad “Delta” type shoulder, make the anchor to set almost immediately upon touching the seabed.
Delivers very good grip in most types of seabed with a small handicap in rocky bottoms
The fording anchor is a very popular type of anchor due to it’s unique feature of closing flukes thanks to which occupies minimum space in the storage locker.
Mostly for inflatable or small to medium plastic boats, as temporary anchorage.
Suitable for the majority of seabed types
Made from hot dipped galvanized steel.
These anchors are based on the traditional, custom made, anchors that were formed manually in a forge using a hammer and an anvil.
Very popular in Greek region, due to they unique shape, consider to be ideal for permanent anchorage .
The 4-fluke design insures immediate and secure grabbing, almost any kind of seabed.
Heavy duty galvanized pulley single or double.
Kobra anchor (patented).
Yet another novelty by Plastimo. The anchor resembles the Delta but there is a huge difference.
Cleverly designed to be stored on the bow roller or stowed in the chain locker thanks to its collapsible shank.
Its high holding power makes it ideally suitable for use as a picnic anchor, used in conjunction with a weighted mooring line. This reduces the effort necessary in the absence of windlass.
The Kobra anchor bites into the seabed within seconds and has a very high holding power, thanks to its weighted tip and very broad shoulders. The outstanding performance of the Kobra results from its particular geometric proportions, which allow you to select safely up to 2 sizes down compared to the usually recommended anchor weight.
Galvanized steel mooring spring.
Pool type anchors are ideal for boats that require a heavy anchor in relatively small dimensions. Usually fitted on boats over 20m in length.
Belong to the category of symmetrical anchors with moving shank.
Reef anchors are used mostly for securing a rope ashore (usually in rocky terrain) during short time stops for refueling, provision replenishment or recreation.
The small weight ensures that the anchor can easily be thrown at a fair distance.
Rocna anchors belong to the so-called new generation of anchors.
With a very innovative design, they show very high performance in all areas, whether it is the speed with which they catch at the bottom, or it is the holding force in all types of bottoms.
It takes minimal lengths (3-4 anchor lengths) to achieve full anchorage and, in case it slips, anchors again immediately.
In the provided tables you can see the dimensions of each anchor as well as the optimal anchor / length – weight ratio of the boat.
