Load bearing Trudesign

 

TruDesign load bearing collars are designed for use with Trudesign skin fittings and ball valves.
With the collar in place, the skin fitting-ball valve-hose tail assembly will withstand a 500 lb (227 kg) static force applied to the Hose Tail end of the assembly, for a minimum of 30 seconds – complying with North American ABYC H-27 standards.

 

Note: Trudesign 2″ skin fittings meet the requirements of H-27 500Lb standard (i.e. without a Large Collar installed). Adding a large collar to assemblies of this size increases the overall strength and protects the vulnerable exposed section of thread on the Skin Fitting.

Non return valve Trudesign

 

TruDesign Non-Return Valves (Check Valves) are made from UV stabilised glass reinforced nylon, these composite material fittings are designed for the harsh marine and agricultural environments.

They can be used in line to prevent water backflow or siphoning and have a very low cracking pressure. High strength and lightweight. Can be used in direct sunlight. Minimal installation room needed and no other fittings required.

Skin fitting install tool Trudesign

TruDesign skin fitting install tools are a world-first which allows the installation of a skin fitting to be carried out by a single person. No longer is a second person needed to hold the skin fitting in place on the outside of the hull and stop it from turning whilst the first person on the inside of the hull tightens the skin fitting nut.

T piece connector nylon Trudesign

The 1½” threaded T-Piece features 2x female threads and 1x male thread enabling them to be joined together to create manifolds – useful for multiple hose connections to a single ball valve & thru-hull fitting.
The center female thread is shorter and designed for use with Aquavalve tails (Straight, 90°, and 120°) giving the option of tail sizes from 19mm up to 38mm. The plug, or threaded connector can also be used in the center connection.

Y-Valve plastic 1-1/2″ Trudesign

 

Manufactured from a glass reinforced nylon composite. High strength and light weight, will not corrode in salt laden air.

Easy installation, with a range of straight, 90° and 120° tails, and two seal options, plumbing in confined spaces is made easy.

Pressure tested. All valves are pressure tested to ensure quality and safety in respect to sealing and operation.
