Chopped strand Mat consists of very thin glass fibers about 5cm long, which are cut and glued together with a special glue or powder. The fibers are evenly distributed on the surface of the fabric and oriented in all directions, giving high mechanical strength to the final product and easy application during use. It is used in the construction of yachts, all kinds of repairs and reinforcements. Laminating wooden and polyester boats, construction of panels, tanks, cars, refrigerators, greenhouses and buildings. Indicatively, and always depending on the weather conditions, the amount of resin required for the impregnation of 1m² MAT 450gr is approximately 1.2kg.
